Description
Role Overview: The Onsite Break/Fix Engineer will expertly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of devices including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and mobile phones. This role demands effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient handling of repair requests from initiation to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on customer equipment, focusing primarily on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot computer issues with a strong emphasis on hardware.
- Maintain detailed repair records using the internal asset and tracking system (TIMS).
- Apply proactive monitoring to prevent issues and identify erratic system behaviors.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements and managing tickets efficiently.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and operational guides to assist team members in troubleshooting.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures as per company policy.
- Follow established procedures and scripts to resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
- Support documentation updates as directed.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
