Description
Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in the Power Converter Industry
- Strong knowledge of grid-connected converter control design
- Experience in power electronics control and three-phase converters
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD
- Knowledge of dynamic system modeling and controller design
- Understanding of DQ0, sequence, and phasor representations
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for grid-connected converters
- Perform dynamic system modeling, simulation, and validation
- Implement and optimize converter control algorithms
- Work on PWM strategies, current control, and voltage control systems
- Analyze and resolve technical and field issues through root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in technical reviews
- Contribute to quality improvements through automation and engineering best practices
