EDI / EAI – Consultant

• Worldwide in-house EDI/EAI support and SAP consulting for the specialist departments and Development of new solutions
• Conception, introduction and documentation of new connections with the inclusion of of the departments and business partners
• Preparation of EDI/EAI documentation
• Creation of interface mapping for incoming and outgoing messages in the SAP as well as NonSAP environment
• Monitoring of EDI/EAI computers and processes
• Further development of existing EDI/EAI processes
• supervision and support of various project phases; Test Commissioning, go-live and hypercare at home and abroad
• Second level support in the areas of EDI, EAI, SD and MM
• Support of external EDI service providers
• Creation of mapping guidelines

• Understand and capture business requirements for approved change Requests
• Evaluation of the requirements (implementation options, cost estimation, Duration of implementation, etc.)
• Creation and implementation of the functional and technical concept
• Definition of processes and methods for configurations, tests, Transport/Introduction
• Participation in the preparation of system tests and maintenance of end-to-end scenarios
• Execution of IT tests including test case creation and test documentation
• Implementation - if necessary in cooperation with external service providers
• Documentation of the solution document (functional/technical specifications)
• Creation/updating of user manuals and, if necessary, training materials
• Go-Live Preparation & Hypercare

This is what you bring with you:

• Successfully completed Degree in computer science or Comparable education/practical experience
• Professional experience in the IT and EDI environment
• Knowledge of various EDI formats (e.g. VDA, EDIFACT, ANSI)
• SAP knowledge in the core modules
• Experience with SAP (EDI relevant transactions) and IDOC processing
• Good knowledge of OFTP2
• Good knowledge of Seeburger BIS 6 and mapping Designer
• Ability to work independently, ability to work in a team, Communication skills, great willingness to learn
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills and Presentation skills as well as a high level of social Competence in dealing with our internal Business partners and external service providers
• Willingness to travel at home and abroad
