Job Description

Excelloit's client, a global leader in automotive and mobility solutions, is looking for an experienced Application Consultant with expertise in MES or SAP (PP/MM/WM) to support their team. As an Application Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing the client's Intex application with SAP integration, working closely with business units to analyze, design, and enhance business processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and develop the Intex application, including integration with SAP.
  • Analyze, design, and optimize new and existing business processes in close cooperation with departments.
  • Customize and implement technical solutions.
  • Document IT processes related to Intex and SAP.
  • Perform 2nd and 3rd level support, including error analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Understand and gather business requirements for approved change requests.
  • Assess requirements for feasibility, effort estimation, and implementation duration.
  • Create and implement functional and technical concepts.
  • Define processes and methods for configurations, testing, and rollout.
  • Assist in system test preparation and maintain end-to-end scenarios.
  • Conduct IT testing, including test case creation and documentation.
  • Implement solutions, potentially in collaboration with external providers.
  • Document solution specifications (functional/technical).
  • Create/update user manuals and training materials as necessary.
  • Prepare for Go-Live and provide Hypercare support.
  • Contribute to the development of a training concept and materials.
  • Conduct employee and key user training.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s, Diploma, or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Intex software, MES software, or SAP modules (PP, MM, WM) with at least 2 years of experience and a willingness to learn Intex software.
  • General IT skills, e.g., SQL, with a strong analytical and technical mindset.
  • Good understanding of textile production and business processes in the automotive industry.
  • Independent work style, team player, strong communication skills, and eagerness to learn.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with high social competence for engaging with internal and external business partners.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
