Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d), Böblingen, Germany (On-site)

Essential Skills:

• 10+ years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Creo Elements/Direct (3D Modeling, 2D Drawings, BOM Creation)
• Experience in Electro-Mechanical Product Design and Assemblies
• Strong Plastic Part Design experience, especially large components (e.g., monitor bezels, enclosures)
• Knowledge of System Integration and Hardware-Mechanical Design Integration
• GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up Analysis expertise
• Experience working in Medical Device or similar regulated industries
• German language skills (mandatory)
• FEA / Mechanical Simulation knowledge (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex electro-mechanical products and assemblies
• Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials using Creo Elements/Direct
• Design plastic components and ensure manufacturability and product quality
• Support system-level integration between mechanical and hardware components
• Perform GD&T application and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to meet project requirements
• Contribute to fast-paced product development and accelerated release schedules
• Support design validation and engineering problem-solving activities

Preferred Background:

• Medical Device industry experience
• Product development involving plastic and electro-mechanical systems
• Experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
• Previous leadership or senior engineering responsibilities
