As a Network & Security System Administrator, you will be integral to the "OneIT" team, contributing to group-wide IT functions such as IT infrastructure, service management, and IT project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget planning and configuring enterprise solutions in network & security.
- Develop a group-wide network strategy aligning with OneIT goals.
- Support project work to evolve the network & IT security infrastructure, including sub-project management tasks.
- Ensure compliance with service management tool requirements and change management board.
- Administer the network & security system landscape.
- Implement, commission, and maintain solutions as per specifications.
- Provide technical advice and select products and service providers cost-effectively.
- Manage external service providers for service and escalation management.
- Evaluate optimization opportunities in your area of responsibility.
- Support maintenance and provide 2nd/3rd level support.
- Integrate third-party manufacturers in problem analysis and escalation management.
- Plan, implement, and monitor system updates.
- Create and update documentation, instructions, and manuals.
- Evaluate new technologies and further develop existing hardware and software standards.
- Manage the sustainable operation of the group-wide network infrastructure.
- Take service ownership for one or more services in the area of responsibility.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Firewall expertise.
- Network as a Service knowledge.
- Technical Engineering in user requirement analysis and product implementation.
- Experience in Switching/Routing, DMZ services, Monitoring (PRTG), Networking (IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
- Manufacturer-specific knowledge (Fortinet, Extreme Networks, Cisco).
- Project management abilities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High results and customer orientation.
- Initiative, resilience, flexibility, determination, and reliability.
- Willingness to travel worldwide.
