Description
Essential Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Administration
- Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, Debian, or similar)
- Experience with Windows Server and macOS environments
- Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, Routing, Firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox, KVM, Clustering)
- Automation experience using Ansible
- Scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Knowledge of IT Security, SIEM, and EDR solutions
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fluent German and English communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure and virtual environments
- Administer Linux, Windows, and macOS systems
- Manage network infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and routing
- Monitor and improve system performance, security, and availability
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Ansible, Python, and Bash
- Manage security tools, incident detection, and response activities
- Maintain monitoring and logging platforms
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and directory services
- Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to internal users
- Manage hardware lifecycle, software deployments, and system upgrades
- Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and system improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in IT System Administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments
- Experience managing complex IT infrastructures independently
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent German and English language skills
