Head of Data Analytics

Location: Germany (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Data Analytics to lead the organization's data strategy and analytics function. This role is responsible for building and managing modern analytics capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving innovation through AI and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall data analytics strategy.
• Lead and manage the Product Analytics function across multiple product lines.
• Build and maintain a modern analytics platform that provides real-time business insights.
• Develop self-service analytics solutions to support business and product teams.
• Drive innovation using AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Promote a data-driven culture and support experimentation across the organization.
• Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and business performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Management, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Data Analytics with strong Product Analytics expertise.
• Proven experience leading data analytics teams and building analytics capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance (GDPR).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Executive or senior leadership experience.
• German language skills.
• Startup or fast-paced business experience.
