Excelloit, a leader in Talent Consulting & Recruitment, is seeking a skilled IT Coordinator for one of our esteemed clients in the automotive sector. This role is crucial for the successful operation of a plant project with BMW, requiring specific information and digital skills. As an IT Coordinator, you will be instrumental in implementing and managing various systems essential for plant operations.                          

Key Responsibilities:

Information and digital skills requirements for plant operation (BMW project)

1. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange):
   • Implement and manage the EDI interface for receiving and processing forecast delivery schedules.
   • Conduct test call-offs with BMW to ensure error-free exchange of logistics data.
2. JIS500 (Just in Sequence 5000):
   • Implement sequential production and delivery processes.
   • Understand sequencing production modes, including KITting supply.
3. MES (Manufacturing Execution System):
   • Manage the MES to ensure product characteristic error prevention, accurate traceability, and production control.
   • Understand the logic construction process of MES, including order insertion, rework, and reporting work.
4. WMS (Warehouse Management System):
   • Understand and implement the functionalities of the WMS system: material receipt, inspection, inventory movement, inventory checks, and feed-material tasks.
   • Manage data interfaces with JIS, MES, ERP, and other systems.
   • Oversee the use of PC terminals and PDA mobile terminals within the WMS system.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience working with BMW projects is mandatory.
• Proficient knowledge of EDI ordering processes.
• Familiarity with JIS5000 sequencing production and delivery.
• Understanding of MES and WMS systems.
• Strong skills in project coordination and system implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
