Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Diploma, or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Previous experience in IT and EDI environments
- Familiarity with various EDI formats such as VDA, EDIFACT, ANSI
- Proficiency in SAP core modules
- Hands-on experience with SAP for handling EDI transactions and IDOC processing
- Proficiency in OFTP2 and Seeburger BIS 6, including Mapping Designer
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Responsibilities:
EDI Operations:
- Provide comprehensive in-house support for EDI/EAI and SAP consulting across various departments
- Develop innovative solutions and documentations for EDI/EAI connections
- Create interface mappings for inbound and outbound messages within SAP and NonSAP environments
- Monitor and maintain EDI/EAI systems and processes
- Enhance and optimize existing EDI/EAI processes
- Support all phases of projects including testing, start-up, go-live, and hypercare
- Offer second level support for EDI, EAI, SD, and MM
- Conduct detailed error analysis for EDI/EAI processes and extend support to external service providers
- Establish and update mapping guidelines
Change Management (Solution Delivery - Design / Build / Test):
- Gather and understand business requirements for approved Change Requests
- Evaluate requirements and estimate effort and duration for implementation
- Develop Functional and Technical concepts
- Establish processes and methodologies for configurations, testing, and deployment
- Assist in system testing and maintain end-to-end scenarios
- Perform IT tests, create comprehensive test cases, and document results
- Collaborate with external service providers if needed for implementing solutions
- Document solution documents including Functional and Technical specifications
- Update user manuals and training documents as required
- Facilitate go-live preparations and provide hypercare support.
