Excelloit Consultancy Services is proud to partner with one of its premium clients in search of a highly skilled Senior FPGA Engineer. This role is integral to the development of cutting-edge technologies in aerial data acquisition, processing, and autonomous solutions. What You'll Do
- Contribute to all stages of electronic development, from concept to production.
- Design and implement advanced FPGA circuits and systems in VHDL, focusing on high-speed communication, digital signal/data processing, and synchronization.
- Assist in the design of high-speed digital PCBs.
- Develop firmware in C/C++ for embedded applications.
- Debug and characterize electronic assemblies and subsystems in camera/LiDAR systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to achieve project milestones.
- Support the production team during the series production ramp-up phase.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Higher education (FH) or university degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience with complex VHDL designs, RTL coding, timing analysis, and simulation/verification methods.
- Proficiency with Linux for embedded systems or similar environments.
- Experience with Matlab or Python.
- Familiarity with tools like GIT, Jira, and agile/scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills in German (B2) and/or English (B2).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, AXI, SPI, or I2C.
- Background in analogue/RF electronics.
- Experience with LiDAR, radar, or imaging systems.
