Description
Your Role
As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will:
- Design and Development:
- Contribute to all phases of electronics development, from concept to product launch.
- Develop advanced FPGA circuits and systems in VHDL, focusing on high-speed communication, digital signal and data processing, and timing synchronization signals.
- Support the design of high-speed digital PCBs.
- Write firmware in C/C++ for embedded applications.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Debug and characterize electronic assemblies and submodules for camera/LiDAR systems.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams and external partners to meet project goals.
- Support production during the series production ramp-up.
- Your Profile
- Education & Experience:
- Higher education (FH) or university degree (BSc, MSc) in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in complex VHDL designs, RTL coding, timing analysis, and simulation/verification methods.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Linux for embedded systems or similar.
- Experience with Matlab or Python.
- Familiarity with GIT, Jira, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Language Skills:
- Good knowledge of English (B2).
- German knowledge (B2) is a plus.
