Description
What You Will Do
- Develop new features for Ruby on Rails applications
- Build and improve backend systems and REST APIs
- Write and optimize SQL queries using PostgreSQL
- Improve database performance, speed, and stability
- Build and maintain internal tools using Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus
- Refactor and modernize existing code
- Support migration of older Python scripts into Ruby systems
- Work closely with product and engineering teams
Requirements
Must Have:
- At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization
- Experience with REST APIs
- Knowledge of Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus
- Fluent German (C1)
- Ability to work in Dresden office 2–3 days/week
Nice to Have:
- Python experience
- AWS knowledge
- Experience with Sidekiq and testing frameworks
Type: Full-time (30–40 hours/week)
Language: German C1 required
