Solution Architect at Any location in Poland (Remote Role)

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect complex software solutions using Java and Java-based frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to support project goals.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies.
• Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting professional growth and development.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software solutions through thorough testing and optimization.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing technical expertise and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java and Java-based frameworks.
• Strong understanding of technical project leadership, with a focus on systems thinking and Agile methods and principles.
• Proven success in a rapidly changing, collaborative, and iterative product development environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience leading engineering teams, evaluating performance, and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Design Patterns.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems.

Additional Desired Competencies:

• Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with web technology (HTML, CSS) and JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting and object-oriented languages, such as Groovy and Python.
• Understanding of web services and message formats (JSON, XML).
• Knowledge of core ML/AI principles and technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems and big data
