Job Description
Excelloit’s client, a leading global organization in the automotive and mobility solutions industry, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Architect to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to drive transformative IT projects within an integrated, global IT framework.
As a Senior IT Architect, you will collaborate with IT and business units to shape the company's global IT landscape, support agile methodologies, and advance cloud and IoT strategies. This is an exciting role within the "OneIT" team, which integrates IT functions such as IT infrastructure, service management, business applications, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop roadmaps for IT lifecycle management and optimize the company’s global IT architecture.
- Assess business-critical applications and evaluate their technical suitability, proposing rationalization where appropriate.
- Design and implement an overarching cloud strategy to drive innovation.
- Assist in creating and evolving IoT strategies, supporting both IT and business divisions in establishing IoT roadmaps.
- Establish and advance the global IT architecture, supporting centralized IT services.
- Create and implement migration plans from the current state to the target IT architecture.
- Advise and assist solution architects in IT project execution.
- Contribute to the continuous adoption of agile practices, especially within a Kanban-organized environment.
Your Profile
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or an equivalent vocational qualification with an IT focus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture or as a solution architect.
- Proven track record in designing IT harmonization projects.
- Extensive, cross-technology IT knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, with experience engaging middle and upper management.
- Team-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent German and good command of English, both spoken and written.
- High level of initiative, resilience, flexibility, goal orientation, and reliability.
